OBIEE 11g error whil starting OBIEE 11g services


    Error :<BEA-141281> <unable to get file lock, will retry …>

     <BEA-141281> <unable to get file lock, will retry …> While starting OBIEE server via command promt

    Solution :

    Navigate to the path : <OBIEE HOME>/C:\Middleware\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\servers\AdminServer\tmp
    and delete the “AdminServer.lok” file .

    If required ,do the same for “bi_server1″ file and Start the services again.. The services should be able to start .

    Description:-

    The message indicated that web logic server can not get file lock due to other activities which are holds the locks.Web logic server will try again before time out of the current session of log.Hence the logs are removed automatically ,we need to remove them manually
